BROWN SKIN GIRL: Beyonce's 7-year-old daughter wins her first song writing award.


Beyoncé and Jay-Z's firstborn daughter just won a songwriting award for contributing to her mom’s track Brown Skin Girl which was featured in the Lion King album.

Blue took home the Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award, which also credits her parents as co-writers at the 2019 BET Soul Train Awards on Sunday, November 17.

Other co-writers shared the Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award win with the young girl.
