At a time when Students of Tertiary institutions are on their toes preparing for E-Examinations and Lectures as alleged to soon be implemented, A 300L student of Mass communication in the Rivers State University has taken to his Facebook account to accuse the SUG PRO of an unidentified institution of embezzlement of funds meant for the production of SUG Diaries.



The said student who was identified as Sunday,Gideon Uwolie serves as the Chief Press Secretary to the student body NURSS Worldwide

Reactions from people who seem to be his acquaintances say he is only bitter after losing all the elections he contested for from SUG level down to departmental level but the Questions begging for answers remain;

Five young men go insane in Etche after intake of mixed herbs.

Five young men have reportedly gone insane after drinking mixed herbs with gin fondly called ‘Kaikai’ at Omuakwuru community in Igboo-Etche, Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State. The victims, who are young men from the community, committed the act of drugging themselves when they went for the burial of one of their elders, Blessing Wokowa. A source in community, who confirmed the incident said, “The boys started misbehaving immediately after the intake of the root mixed with local dry gin which was prepared by one of the young men.” It was gathered that it took the intervention of some individuals in the community to apprehend the affected persons as the drink manifests. The Police in Igbo-Etche said they have launched a manhunt for the major culprit.
